Singing Hands Song BookThese are old, familiar songs which can be found in most any hymnal used by Fundamental churches.  Songs which are extremely complicated have been "interpreted" and the meaning extracted.  A valuable tool for any individual interpreting music in church.  Every church should have at least one copy to assist the interpreters with interpreting hymns. 

Please be patient with the interpretations.  We understand that many churches, like our church, have Deaf with various levels of education and Deaf coming from various backgrounds.  This book was designed to be used by interpreters for the average Deaf person. 

It is important that the words make sense to the Deaf person.  When interpreting church music, SLOW DOWN!  If you can, it is best to keep flowing with the music, but not quickly, especially if the Deaf are trying to "sing along".
